It has an area of about 4000 m2. The purpose of the design of this inclusion activity center is to prosper children with special needs in Indonesia, especially The City of Bandung through the aspect of Inclusion Education and to improve the quality of Inclusion Education for children with special needs in Bandung. This inclusion activity center is designed with multiple intelligence activity learning system and with universal design standards. This activity center is included in the typology of non-formal educational facilities. The activity center can accommodate more than 100 children from the age of six to the age of seventeen. This inclusion activity center is intended for children with special needs and general children in Bandung. The design of this inclusion activity center raises the concept of "Active and fun". Through the facilities and activity programs provided, children can actively enjoy every moment and affinity without being deterred by differences, can develop every potential they have and that can especially improve an inclusive environment in every difference of each Child with Special Needs. This concept is derived from the process of synthesis of problem issues, the first of which is the issue of Education of children with special needs (SLB) separate education system (segregation) forming a pattern of decriminalization of children with special needs. In the SLB Education system also does not guarantee the opportunity of children with special needs to develop their full potential, because the curriculum is designed differently from children in general. So through this concept can also create an inclusive environment. Where through the facilities provided can create interactions between children with special needs and children in general. text |
