Summary: | Tableware ceramic products have indeed been a part of human life since time
immemorial, the activity of eating and drinking as an activity of primary human needs is what
binds tableware ceramic products as products with the status of primary needs. Today, ceramic
tableware products do not only function as food containers or bases, more than that, these
products serve as the fulfillment of human desire for taste and design fluids. The desire to have
goods with certain design styles that represent a person's self-image, makes humans not only
buy functions, but also designs, and concepts or stories contained together and within them.
It is this human need that brings the ceramic tableware industry now not only in terms
of function, but also in terms of design - not only function, but aesthetics as well - so that it
shifts the pattern of human consumption to a wider extent in the buying and selling activities
of this tableware ceramic product. In this case a new problem arises, namely the revolving of
human tastes in choosing ceramic tableware products, which in other sense, ceramic tableware
requires innovation and novelty in terms of design, concepts, and stories in it, with the aim of
attracting the interest of the community and adding novelty to the style in the process ceramic
tableware decoration products around us today.
The author views human closeness with music as an opportunity to create a collaborative
concept that will bring tableware ceramics back to be seen and enjoyed by the people around
us. The method applied is the merging of the image or emotional image of music with ceramic
tableware decoration motifs. The image of the music / song that the writer chooses will be
broken down by elements or building elements which are then translated into visual elements
by means of spontaneous response imagination data collection, which involves the psychology
of shapes, colors, and other visual elements, so as to create a ceramic tableware work new
with the concept of music as inspiration for its decoration. |
