| Summary: | Indonesia multicultural society has kebaya as national dress. Public knowledge of
kebaya’s diversity is still low and there are still many distorted perceptions of
kebaya. The community has awareness movement such as "Selasa Berkebaya" and
also this book is to support the "National Kebaya Day" program. The research is
focused on the historical record and types of kebaya in Indonesia. Data collection
is done through literature studies and observation to explore more about kebaya’s
background. The questionnaire is also carried out on target audience to know their
preferences. This introduction book is adjusted to the preferences of young adult
obtained from the questionnaire results. From data analysis, the book is having
vintage and personal concept. This book is to help Indonesians gain deeper
knowledge of the richness of kebaya as well as souvenirs that provide a nostalgic
memories. |
