Summary:Agricultural development in Indonesia is still limited in terms of providing food. Few farmers have a thougt of agriculture in the business system, from upstream to downstream activities, which is referred to agribusiness concept. This agribusiness activity requires integration of each agribusiness subsystem, which is closely related to agribusiness supply chain management. The problem of integrating these various subsystems can generate new problems from economic and social perspective, such as lessening interest in agriculture. One concept that seeks to solve economic and social problems is called social entrepreneurship. There is one theory from the field of sociology that can discuss how the integration of various relationships in the supply chain can solve socio-economic problems through the collective action, namely social network theory. The use of social networks in the supply chain still rarely practiced by supply chain’s researchers. The case study on the development of Griya Cokelat Nglanggeran’s agribusiness supply chain is suitable responding how the collective action can creates social entrepreneurship using social network analysis. The purpose of this study is to identify the involvement of social networks in creating social entrepreneurship towards the agribusiness supply chain of Griya Cokelat Nglanggeran. To acknowledge these objectives, the data collection method used was through interviews with key actors of Griya Cokelat Nglanggeran. To understand the involvement of social networks in the creation of social entrepreneurship, it isvi necessary to understandin the roles of actors and actor’s interaction to explain how involment of central actors can creates social entrepreneurship. Based on the results of the analysis, in the development of Griya Cokelat Nglanggeran, there are five types of actors, namely enablers, facilitators, incubators, providers, and receivers. The development of the Griya Cokelat Nglanggeran is centered on the Manager of Griya Cokelat, according to the results of the degree centrality, closeness, and betweenness. Then, actors who have a high degree of centrality influencing the creation of social entrepreneurship in the network through the diffusion of knowledge and information, collective action, and network crystallization. The recommendations that is offered in this study are to support the development of Griya Cokelat Nglanggeran through developing cooperation with external parties through product or network promotion, giving intervention by central actors to solve socio-economic problems through formulating solutions with members, and increasing the development of institutional entrepreneurship through capacity building programs for all key actors in each agribusiness subsystem.
