Especially when you look at the elections from the past few years. Naturally this is something that needs to put on a stop, the current youth should be aware about this issue, so it won’t be passed down to the next generation. Nowadays, information can be easily obtained through the internet. The present generation of young adults as digital natives are actively using the internet, and more specifically, the social media. There are many kinds of entertainment to be found in social medias, and one of it is webcomic. Through the platform, artists have more freedom to share their works to the public audience. In addition to artworks as a form of self-expression and hobby, it can also be in a form of critique. Political comics with satiric tone have been used as a media to express dissatisfaction toward the social politic condition. With the characteristic of relying more illustration rather than words, making it more appealing to the casual readers who aren’t really invested in politics and not into reading a long paragraph. In this academic paper, quantity based research methods are used with data collected through study of literature, observation, and questionnaire as the base of the design. The product of this research will be a webcomic with satiric tone distributed through social media platforms. text
