Description
Summary:Batu Ampar, Batam is one of Indonesia’s port that mainly serve cargo loading including container. To support any distribution at the port, container port with deck on pile type is designed. This report will discuss the step to calculate the dimensión of the port and it’s elements. The result of the calculation will be analyze by referring to the standard. Port design is done based on data such as environmental, operational data and the availabilty of the element itself. Some of data will be processed before giving the affect of that variable to the structure. For example, wind data will be plotted and calculated in the extreme value of 100 years to be the input of structure’s load. Structure will be analyzed numerically and being helped by structural analysis software, SAP 2000 by referring to AISC 360-16 standard. Software’s input requires the spesification and dimensión of the material, layout and loads.the output of the model will be the datum of whether the design is feasible or not. Some of the variable that is being checked is UCR (Unity Check Ratio) dan deflection. The forcé in the structure’s element will be the based in the reinforcement design and calculation. The Final result of this report includes port design ccovering the dimensión and specification of the port and structure’s element, detail of reinforcement, the depth and some of the significant elevation for the design base don environmental data
