Summary: | The structure of the jacket type offshore platform needs to be designed
appropriately, so that the activities above the structure are not disturbed. The design of the
structure of the offshore platform refers to the API RP2A standard. In this study, the version
of the design principle used is the Working Stress Design (WSD). In the process of designing
the structure of the offshore platform, it is necessary to carry out some structural analysis to
determine the structure's ability due to working loading. These analyzes include in-place,
seismic and fatigue analysis. In-place analysis will produce the value of the unity check
member, the unity check joint can, the pile capacity and the deflection due to loading that
occurs on the structure when it is placed in a predetermined location. The structure designed
is also considered to be able to withstand earthquake strength level (SLE) conditions, with
checks carried out as in the in-place analysis. The structure can last for 20 years (with a safety
factor of 2.00 and 5.00 at mudmat). The structure will proceed to the pre-service analysis
stage. One analysis that can be done is lifting analysis. The results of the lifting analysis are
the lifting configuration of the braced monopod structure, the location of the crane hook
point, the properties of the sling rope, the shackle property and the dimensions of the padeye
that meet the API RP2A - WSD design standards. |
