The security unit ( Satpam ) is a group of officers formed by the agency to carry out self-security in its work environment. In carrying out security duties, patrol activities function as a security method by conducting physical supervision and checking of the community environment and other instruments in the work area. Patoli security activities in open and wide work areas, require vehicles for mobilization, quick response, to the chase. The number of dependent variables in security guard patrol activities such as geographical conditions, supporting attributes, community environment and special Standard Operational Prodcedures, make security guard vehicles cannot be compared to vehicles in general. Based on this background, this study aims to design a special patrol vehicle that is ideal for security guards, to improve environmental safety in confined areas. In collecting data, the methodology included searching for references through literature studies, field studies and ethnographic methods. From the results of data processing, it was concluded that special vehicles are needed for limited area patrol activities. Then the data is used as a reference in creating design concepts. Furthermore, it enters the vehicle design phase, alternative designs and ends with a digital model and a 1: 5 model
