Summary:Thematic development within the SWK area of Bandung City which is part of the RDTR is a manifestation of the city branding concept carried out by the City of Bandung wherein its implementation it is not voiced and is optimally implemented. Therefore, a study was conducted to assess the success of the implementation of the city branding concept at each SWK in Bandung and the factors that influence it. This study uses a mixed-method between qualitative and quantitative approaches. By using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) analysis method and strengthened by qualitative analysis based on the results of interviews with related agencies, the results of the analysis obtained show that SWK Cibeunying is the most successful SWK in implementing the city branding concept, and the implementation of the city branding concept itself is influenced by several factors such as tourism, policies, culture and the dynamics of internal and external development in the city of Bandung. The recommendations given from this study in general are the emergence and strengthening of the identity of each SWK following the thematic carried as a form of implementation of the city branding concept.
