Summary: | The Shopping Center with lifestyle center concept was planned to be built in Palembang, it was planned to meet green building criteria, which two of them were water recycling (WAC 3) and alternative sources of clean water (WAC 4). Therefore, it would be planned to recycle the greywater into clean water. The Shopping Center was planned to have clean water demand of 279.46 m3/day with a need for flushing toilets of 26.84 m3/day. The entire greywater generation as much as 169.82 m3/day was planned to be processed into clean water, while the blackwater would be first flowed to the septic tank before being discharged to the centralized WWTP of Palembang City through the city's sewerage. The alternative treatment system chosen was the Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC) system with configurations starting from a bar screen, grease trap, equalization tank, primary sedimentation tank, RBC unit, clarifier, and disinfection unit. The WWTP was designed so that it can remove organic (BOD as parameter) and TSS of 96.67% and 75%. The need for the WWTP investment costs was IDR 3,014,044,218.00, with a total annual operating cost of IDR 179,347,112.00. The WWTP was considered financially feasible with an NPV (Net Present Value) of IDR 24,265,858,748.00. |
