| Summary: | At the beginning of its development, Batik Bogor motif has not yet reflected characteristic like batik-batik that develops in other areas. Nowadays, Batik Bogor tends to show the motif of Pekalongan and many influence from Batik other area. Research will focus on the development of Batik Bogor which also form the identity of Bogor city. Moreover, with the UNESCO Award in 2006, also has an impact on the development of batik motifs in each area, including in Bogor. Motif Batik Bogor is currentlytheiconsofthecityandcultureofBogor,suchasKujangKijang,raindrizzle, IstanaBogor,Talas,RerengKujang,lotus,flowercarcasses,thereareevenfoodmotifs such as Angkotan, tofu, deer Papasangan, Motif puppet and so on. Research is compiled using historical methods, which include heuristics (collection of sources), criticism, interpretation, and writing of facts. In the study will use the inspiration of Bogor Botanical Gardens as motive development. Based on the conclusion of the research, Bogor Batik is one of the crafts that successfully developed in the processof designing motifs, techniques and usage so that the existence is preserved. It is hoped that through the concept of design of motif and integration of area as an approach of BogorBotanicalgardencanberealizedandshowtheidentityofBogorcitywithmore variedinnovations. |
