Various hijab styles and styles create a new value that hijab women are no longer old-fashioned and conservative. The hijab trend led to the growth and proliferation of Muslim fashion shops and advertisements that represented women and men wearing Muslim clothing. Commodification with the emergence of Muslim-themed cultural products such as films and soap operas, increasing this cultural phenomenon. Through this series of photography works, the writer wants to place the hijab on two sides. Namely, the hijab is a daily dress and an everyday fashion expression free to be interpreted by anyone -especially women. The writer also has an awareness of using parody visual language to criticize society's powerlessness towards the phenomenon and trend of the hijab. text |
