Summary: | The development of batik which follows the times and the environment indirectly
results in acculturation which is manifested in an innovative product with the
theme of batik. This can be seen from the work of Rystia Stefanie which combines
a white wedding dress with batik cloth. One of the most important dresses to wear
on a woman, a wedding dress is attached to emotions and dreams. White wedding
dress is a standard wedding dress in various places. The first iconic wedding
dress was influenced by the white mass trend. Design and technology are growing
rapidly every year, one of the developments is seen from the rise of 3D printing
technology which has become commonplace for use. 3D printing is a nontraditional form of machinery which is also known as additive manufacturing. The
process of printing an object is made by placing the material / material layer by
layer until the object is created. The main concept is to develop 3D printing
technology as the main and complementary part by applying batik motifs in the
making of the white wedding dress. |
