Description
Summary:The Baroque era which began in the 16th century was one of the golden eras in terms of aesthetics in several European countries. In this era, the advancement of design patterns in various aspects such as architecture, painting, sculpture, music, dance, and one of them is that fashion has an image of beauty that can be seen so unique and interesting. The characteristics of this era are grandeur, dramatic, extravaganza, dark but divine. This uniqueness reminds the writer of the beauty of Indonesia's endemic orchids, with its authentic form that brings a majestic, dramatic impression, it invites the audience to try to understand further. Realizing the closeness of the more organic elements between baroque aesthetics and orchids, especially Indonesian orchids, the writer tries to combine the two in one form of baroque haute couture clothing. The exploratory use of the orchid flower is presented in the form of embellishment and embroidery.
