Description
Summary:The problem of plastic waste in Indonesia’s oceans is now in the public spotlight. The existence of abundant and easily obtained plastics using uncontrolled plastic resulting in large amounts of waste. The benefits of using plastic product should be balanced by calculating the negetive impact it generates because plastic waste is also a difficult to decomposite waste. Basically, plastic waste that dominates the oceans can be recycled, but consttained by waste processing facilites so that the quality of recycled product is less attractive and monotonous. Based on these conditions, a design alternative is capable of improving plastik waste recycling products especially for an aesthetic element and furniture in interior product. The research entitled ‘Exploration of Plastic Waste with Dough Technique as Aesthetic Element and Furniture in Interior Product” is expected to provide an alternative design for interior product of recycled plastic waste with good visual quality resulting from the dough technique that has good functional and aesthetic value.
