Towards the completion of construction, it is important to review important aspects of the Sukamahi Dam, such as hydrology, spillway, dam body, conduit, dam benefits, and operating patterns. By using a comparison of the calculation of 24-hour rain, the planned flood discharge (253.97 m3 / s) was actually lower than the calculation version, at 429.41 m3 / s. The conduit operation that is planned without doors according to the calculation has not been able to provide the expected flood reduction and based on the simulation, operating conduit by only 1 from 2 (50% of its maximum capacity), can increase the effectiveness of flood control by up to 3.8x, and continue operations by operating only 25% of the maximum capacity can increase the effectiveness of flood control by 8.8x; so the installation of the flow control valve is not an option, but a necessity. The optimal valve opening according to the simulation results for the 50-year operation plan is 23% of the maximum capacity. text |
