Description
Summary:Insects are known to be one of the largest groups of animals in terms of its number and widespread in the world, including in Indonesia. The various conditions of each continents from a geographical standpoint, allowed these animals to adapt and survive in their own ways, thus allowing them to evolve individually. Each have their own role in nature, in which they also affect the everyday life of humans as well. One of the largest groups of insects are beetles. Indonesia is known to be the home of one of the largest beetles in the world, named Chalcosoma caucasus. Even tho insects are almost found exactly anywhere, people’s understanding of its role in nature doesnt seem to be that high. Museum Dunia Serangga TMII acts as one of the learning institutes that provide knowledge of the insect world. Although, nowadays with the age of rapid growth of technology, museums need its own ways to stay relevant with the things its presenting. Thats why this research is conducted, as a way to find one of the solutions and stepping stones of inovation, by developing a new learning media with the medium of ceramic relief, talking about the topic of the lifecycle of Chalcosoma caucasus
