Description
Summary:Superplasticity is the ability of a material to undergo very large plastic deformation without necking. The first superplastic research report was carried out by Bengough in 1912. Therefore, study on the manufacture of super plastic materials has been carried out by many researchers. From 1912 to 2020, there are no researches that compiled and classified the material from each study. This is necessary because in the process of making superplasticity materials, various methods or types of materials are used. The research on the super plastic alloy Zn-22Al is expected to help provide information about the manufacture of super plastic materials. Thus, it will make it easier for further researchers to determine the method and alloy that will be used. This research was conducted with 3 processes of literature study using 50 scientific papers from 1968 to 2020. From the research that has been carried out, the material that is widely used for super plasticity is Zn-22Al. This material gets a percentage of 52% of the total research. The use of Zn-22Al alloy produces a maximum elongation percent of 2900% with a strain rate of 6.6x10-3 mm/mm/s and a temperature of 200?C. The main mechanism during plastic deformation is grain boundary sliding to obtain supe plasticity in Zn-22Al.
