In making a new aircraft, there are several stages before the plane finally enters the stage of making a prototype design so that the data obtained for the aircraft design is in accordance with DR&O where the aircraft will be operated. Previously PT. DI has produced many aircraft where most of its production currently is the landplane type, which we know that many are marketed abroad and even domestically. The analysis process at PT. DI, especially in the field of aircraft performance, existing analysis tools still use tools for analyzing landplane type aircraft which only take into account the aerodynamic drag and lift parameters. Amphibian aircraft design requires additional parameters for performance analysis which not only involves aerodynamics drag and lift but also involves hydrodynamic drag and buoyancy parameters for the needs of the take-off and landing phases. For this reason, it is necessary to develop a performance analysis calculation tools, especially for take-off in water, which is an important step to take so that the design results obtained are more optimal. This research is focused on developing a flight phase analysis tool for take-off on air NXXX Amfibi twin floats with a configuration of 2 different floats models. Development of tools for calculating flight take-off phases in the water using the Macro Visual Basic Application (VBA) programming with the Gudmundsson method. The development of tools for calculating take-off in water with the flow of the Gudmundsson method on Microsoft Excel media using Macro Visual Basic Application (VBA) programming can be done as a tool for calculating the analysis of the flight take-off phase in water by comparing the results of the take-off data output in water for configuration 2 different floats models with data according to DR&O Amphibian NXXX aircraft. text |
