Summary: | The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of the module and to test the features provided by the monitoring module. In this research, the energy monitoring module is tested which is connected to a conventional 1-phase machine tool, the machine tool used is a lathe. The test will be carried out using the black box testing method. Black box testing is a testing method that focuses on whether the program's performance meets the requirements (requirements) stated in the specifications. Seven tests were carried out in this study, namely: voltage and current sensor testing, data visualization on the web, LCD screen and buttons, power consumption, battery life, electrical safety and KTK measurement in the system. The test results show that an electrical energy monitoring module has been designed to produce information based on the measurement of the use of electrical energy in conventional machine tools. The electrical energy monitoring module can work properly according to specifications.
The test results on the energy monitoring module, namely: the voltage and current sensors on the module have shown a measurement value which can be considered the same as the measurement value of the sensor of the comparator / reference, the web on the monitoring module can display data visualization and desired features, LCD screen and buttons can display information according to specifications, the use of electric power in the module is 6Wh, the module can work with a battery power supply for 1-6 hours, the module is equipped with a 6A capacity fuse as needed and for KTK measurements, module are included at level 5.
