The final stage is the sand-casting process. Tailstock products that are made follow the design of the Lathe Tailstock with the Harrison 600 type. Of course, not just imitating the product, but also need to know information about the design, working principle, function, and manufacturing process of each component of the product. Parametric design is a design method for creating new designs / objects based on old designs / objects but having different needs by considering several parameters. These parameters such as geometric dimensions, raw material, and others. In other words, the designer does not need to make a design from scratch, only needs to replace some notations (variable terms in this study). Parametric design provides convenience for the flexibility of the product variants being designed. This is because, an object can change automatically by changing only one or two notations. By trying to improve the machine tool industry sector in Indonesia, the benefits obtained include lowering production costs or equipment procurement costs because Indonesia no longer imports machine tools from outside. Even Indonesia can export machine tools or special industrial machines that can increase the country's foreign exchange. text |
