Route determination is done by analysing the amount of market demand in every route. By using the method of modal split and linier regression, a general equation is formed. This equation will be used in determining market demand of WiSE-8 in every route. After the market demand of each route is determined, by knowing the transportation growth each year, the amount of plane is needed in next 10 years can be predicted. From the analysis result of this study, Batam-Dumai and Batam Kuala Tungkal are two routes which have high priority for operating WiSE-8 craft. It is based on high market demand and technical operating environment of WiSE-8 in those routes. With the transportation growth of 13.6% per year, the amount of plane which is needed within 10 years around 115 planes in total. text
