<b>Abstrak :</b><p align="justify"> <br /> <br /> <br /> To provide information system through Internet need telecommunications infrastructure as network to support the services. Satellite system had been using in commercial since early 70 decade. Now satellite had been chosen as a media to deliver high-speed broadband multimedia. To have good quality of services need communication satellites performance that meet requirement as an internet networking.<p align="justify"> <br /> <br /> In this time many satellites characteristic were not design directly to support multimedia broadband interactive through satellite. The key parameters in the communication satellite are characteristic and performance of communication payload<p align="justify"> <br /> <br /> This thesis will analyze and design the payload communication to support the DVB IP as VSAT network according to ETSI standard. Also describe constrain of the linearizer high power amplifier and the operating point to have power efficiency in the satellite.<p align="justify"> <br /> <br /> Satellite links analyses have been perform to define payload characteristic for multimedia broadband interactive including NPR, EIRP, G/T and VSAT parameter.<p align="justify"> <br />
