These two areas are situated in the latitude between 08°16\'40\" - 08°30\'20\" and the longitude 114°49\' 15\" -115°05\'00\". <br /> <br /> The purpose of study is to find out the groundwater system and its potential which will be useful for the development plan of those two sub-district. <br /> <br /> The activities of the study include desk research, secondary data collection and field observation. <br /> <br /> The result of the study shows that the present of unconfined aquifer system with groundwater flow system through pores and also that through fissures, with the flow direction mostly towards the South. <br /> <br /> Unconfined aquifer is built by laharic deposit consist of unconsolidated materials varies from sand to boulder grain size. The unconfined aquifer with groundwater flow system through fissures is built by volcanic breccias, tuffs, lava and reef limestone. <br /> <br /> Based on the calculation of waterbalance, it can be predicted that groundwater potential of Yehieh basin is around 8.78 Ilion m /year, while for Balian basin is around 84.9 million m3fyear and for Pangyangan basin is around 4.24 million m /year. Therefore groundwater potential in the whole study area is around 97.95 million m /year. <br /> <br /> The result of the analysis on the groundwater carried out by \"Balai Laboratium Kesehatan Denpasar\" indicate that the quality of groundwater in those areas is suitable for drinking water. text
