<b>Abstrack</b><p align=\"justify\"> <br /> The changes of having an application from license system become rent system caused the Application Service Provider (ASP) as subject of debate in recent years, the customers be able to focus on their competencies because ASP had taken over any complexities in managing the infrastructure of information system and technologies. <p align=\"justify\"> <br /> This research is aimed to study the technical implication of ASP implementation for Indosat Group, so the affiliates may user the application together through ASP. The financial application from Oracle (Oracle Financial Application) is a choice of Indosat in starting this business, but to achieve a high RAS (Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability) it needs the infrastructure with technical requirement such that application and database server must be redundant at least 20.160 TPM with main memory 4.788 Mbytes; Development Server; Backup system and FireWall. It requires disc storage with total capacity of 649,21 Gbytes, and bandwith requirement to handle all financial transactions with total capacity of 4.892.562 bps. <p align=\"justify\"> <br /> With rent cost of Rp. 7.600.000,- monthly per user name and assumption that business is pessimistic, it will achieve Net Present Value (NPV): Rp. 19.315.590.000,- is a positive value, Internal Rate Return (TRR): 24,10% greater than interest rate (15%), Payback Period: 3 years and 7 months less than business period. Therefore the ASP is appropriate to be implemented in Indosat Group.
