Food waste that comes from the domestic sector is one of the biggest contributors to the waste generation. An alternative is needed to reduce the waste generation that will enter the landfill. One alternative that can process food waste is the use of the Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae. BSF is an insect and can eat food waste so that it can reduce waste generation. The research was conducted by utilizing BSF larvae to process food waste for 21 days. The experiment was carried out by giving 2 different treatments to BSF larvae. Research variables include variations in the dose of feed given. The type of feed given is segregated food waste from TPS Rancabolang, Bandung. The portions of food given are 2 kg/day for reactor A and 3 kg/day for reactor B. Variable differences are carried out to see the difference in the level of efficiency of waste reduction. At the end of the study, the residual weight of waste decomposition and its quality was measured. The waste removal rate is 71.00% ± 1.76% for reactor A and 59.27% ± 1.2% for reactor B. Calculations are also calculated to determine the change in the ratio of C/N ratio and air content of the treated waste. The final C/N content from the results of this study was 18.74 and the water content was 55.6%. text
