Summary:The times has encouraged a shift in economic activity that focuses on the creation of goods and services through the utilization of creativity and intellectual property known as creative industries. However, creative industries located in disaster -prone areas are vulnerable to disruption in the running of economic activity. Social capital, namely trust, norms/ethics, and networks inherent in social relationships are believed to be effective in improving collective action and have the fastest recovery rate again st disasters. Post-disaster recovery is seen as the resilience of the creative industry learned through the creative process as a process carried out by the creative industry through the utilization of adaptive capacity in creative ways, including the crea tion of knowledge and the development of entrepreneurial attitude s. Based on this explanation, the purpose of this study is to identify the influence of social capital on creative industries in realizing resilience in post -disaster areas. To be able to answer the purpose of the research, a case study approach was conduc ted on the silver creative industry in Kotagede, Yogyakarta. Data collection is conducted using interviews with non-probability sampling methods, namely purposive sampling and snowball sampli ng. Data analysis is done with qualitative analysis approach usin g qualitative descriptive analysis method and antecedent analysis. The results showed that social capital in the form of trust, norms/ethics, and networks in the community, in addition to ref lected in its social activities, is also found in business activi ties. However, social capital as a trust and business network has the most influence on the formation of creative processes as an effort in realizing the resilience of creative industries .
