<b></i>Abstract :</b><i><p align=\"justify\"> <br /> <br /> Province potency is one of support development a port. Province potency which potential will be bring number of goods is more and on the other hand province potency is not potential will bring about fatigue in transportation system. For that, is need to identification variables of province potency. <br /> <br /> With identification goods in four packing i.e. general cargo, dry bulk, liquid bulk and unitized, so will be found variables which significant influence to each packing with using unfolding regression model, and then analysing to knowing market of goods each packing. <br /> <br /> The result of unfolding regression model is mathematis equalization, and then forecasting of goods number for 2001 until 2010. Noticing market of the number of goods, in first stage and second stage, the number of liquid bulk was got bigest market for Belawan port and Dumai port. For Belawan port is 51,31 n/ in the first stage and in the second first is 53,22 %, for Dumai port is 91 <br /> in the first stage and in the second stage is 89,77 5. <br /> Province potency which significant for liquid bulk for Belawan port are horticulture, forestry and mining, for Dumai port are Product Domestic Regional Bruto (PDRB ) and industry.
