Summary: | Neutral Cloud and Internet Exchange (Neucentrix), are new innovations in developing Data Center products by Telkom Indonesia. Neucentrix is part of Telkom's goal to make Indonesia be a Digital Global Hub by accelerating the digital ecosystem connected to Telkom's network and other operators both domestically and globally. Neucentrix was built to meet international standards to accommodate opportunities for regional content providers or Content Delivery Network (CDN), therefore Telkom has completed the cable communication system for the Indonesia Global Gateway (IGG) project that connects cable systems from two continents, namely Europe and America.
Since Neucentrix was launched in 2018, the sales level of Neucentrix products has not significantly increased and did not reach the target sales set by the company. This problem causes the performance of Neucentrix as one of Telkom's revenue generators to be not optimal and less contributing to the company's revenue. One of the reasons for the poor sales performance of Neucentrix is the data center products are not in accordance with Telkom customer’s business needs, reinforced based on survey data from the Customer Experience Division of the Telkom WINS Directorate, using the Net Promoter Score (NPS).
One of the most appropriate methods to be implemented in solving Neucentrix product innovation development problems is to use the Bimodal-IT approach. Bimodal-IT is a model framework that combines 2 modes, namely business alignment and technology alignment to have agility in business exploration with digital innovation, while maintaining reliable traditional-IT operational performance. In this case the Account Manager of DWS as sales of Neucentrix and Unit of Strategic Portfolio (SP) as the developer of Neucentrix's product portfolio.
The goal of the proposed final project is to design the appropriate innovation management strategy of Neucentrix product so that it is able to drive Neucentrix to become a Sustainable Technology Innovation with the result is expected to be a solution in designing new data center products that can meet the needs of customers of PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, and have maximum impact on the positive company's revenue growth. |
