The company determines two major factors that affect DSL, there are Customer Issue & Supply Issue. PT Tirtaria has developed a dashboard to control DSL and to find cause & effect. This study used a two-stage study. First, interviewing important stakeholders (Supply Planning Team, Logistic Plant Team, and Deployment Team) to identify the main causes that have the greatest influence on DSL in PT Tirtaria. The second stage is to conduct focus group discussions with important stakeholders, based on the first stage discussion, the second stage discussion includes the Transporter Team. The second phase of discussion aims to find out how logistics are managed and the impact of uncertainty. In addition, this study will then identify significant causes and impacts through the DMAIC method. This study will find the most impactful factors and preventive actions. Based on the observations of this study, it was found that the most influential thing on DSL was the Transport Issue, with the critical problem, such as loading delay in plant & depo, not-clear standardization regarding windows and depot opening hours, and lack of monitoring. Based on these findings, On-Time Key Performance Indicator for transporters must be standardized, and a dedicated control tower for early warning and close monitoring. text |
