not been widely implemented, especially in process control and production control
are still done conventionally. One way of controlling production is production
achievements monitoring and machine operating conditions monitoring. Company
owner or chief, in general to monitor production performance indirectly through
daily production report which is recorded by the operator at the end of the shift. In
addition too, there is no information media that can process production data into
visual data (infographic) can be easy accessible and analyzed at the any time by
the company owner or chief. This research was made prototype of production
monitoring system, which provides information services about production data and
machine operating conditions or status, which is displayed in graphical form
(dashboard) and can be realtime easy accessed via localhost web browser network
using a personal computer or smartphone.
Prototype of the yarn spinning production monitoring system is designed on two
main parts; (1) monitoring module device, which consists of; a data processing
module, a sensor that records production data and machine condition or status,
and a wireless connection using the MQTT protocol. (2) a monitoring system web
developed using the django framework. Experiments are carried out directly in the
yarn spinning industry. The experimental results showed, the yarn spinning
production monitoring system is running well. With this system, information on
production data and operating conditions or status each machine can be real time
monitored, data result from monitoring are stored in a database, processed, and
displayed in graphical form (dashboard) and can be realtime easy accessed via
localhost web browser network using a personal computer or smartphone.
