<b></i>Abstract :</b><i><p align=\"justify\"> <br /> There is two kinds of SMS application, the application for personal consumer, and apllication for the corporate. Almost 90% recent application is still for the personal, and the corporate application has not yet well developed although was realized the ussage and its potensial ability. This situation make a big business opportunity for third partie software developer (outside the network provider) to develop this application for value added service. Corporate SMS aplication is SMS mobile messagging service that customed upon the need and the business process of the company/ corporatr to build for an effective and eficient communication using SMS.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> In this thesis, research will take focus on platform development analysis for the SMS Gateway application for the corporate. The platform system analysis and design was based on object oriented software engineering methodology using Unified Modelling Language (UML). Through the analysis, we conclude the platform that consist of 8 system , that is: security system, database integration system, relational database and transaction system, alert system, send message system, receive message system, cancelling for anti spam system, and monitoring system. The platform development will use to be the base of the SMS Gateway application development using SMS API with object oriented programming language that customed due to the corporate business process involved.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> In applying platform for the real application, we use the case study of corporate company that hopefully could show the real use of the application to upgrade the company productivity and business process efficiency. In this thesis we use the case study of airline company. There will be 3 kind of applications to develop, Flight Alert application, Flight Info application, and Service News application. These applications objective was to give the value added service for the companies customer. The application was developed with SMS JDK (Java Development Kit) and used the Java Programming language. The application suceed to implement the platform and hopefuly could make the further use to be standard of the next SMS Gate-way application development. <br />
