Bio Farma faces many challenges, one of which is the need to establish the capabilities and competencies possessed by employees to match the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. Bio Farma requires an Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to have employees who can increase their competitive advantage in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. The method used in this study is the Organizational Health Index (OHI) as a tool to produce EVP. An additional benefit of using OHI is that companies can find out their health conditions. In this study, the researcher made a model of the relation between OHI management practices and each EVP component. The results of this study indicate that the health of PT. Bio Farma is in the second quartile and "able" level which means it is still unsatisfactory. Gap analysis shows that the gap between employees' perceptions and expectations is still large. Based on the results of the gap analysis, there are eight management practices that become variable prices for employees. The intersection between the EVP that has been offered and the variable price, which is the employee's expectation, is in the inferior area, which means that the offered EVP has not met the employee's expectations. There are six management practices that are prioritized to be improved first. The recommendations given are regarding the improvement of EVP through improvement of six prioritized management practices, namely in terms of Consequence Management, Career Opportunities, Financial Incentives, Rewards & Recognition, Bottom-up Innovation, and People Performance Reviews. text |

PT. Bio Farma (Persero) is a State-Owned Enterprises in Indonesia which is engaged in the
vaccine industry and is the largest in Southeast Asia. Bio Farma faces many challenges, one of
which is the need to establish the capabilities and competencies possessed by employees to match
the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. Bio Farma requires an Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to
have employees who can increase their competitive advantage in the era of Industrial Revolution
4.0.
The method used in this study is the Organizational Health Index (OHI) as a tool to produce EVP.
An additional benefit of using OHI is that companies can find out their health conditions. In this
study, the researcher made a model of the relation between OHI management practices and each
EVP component.
The results of this study indicate that the health of PT. Bio Farma is in the second quartile and
"able" level which means it is still unsatisfactory. Gap analysis shows that the gap between
employees' perceptions and expectations is still large. Based on the results of the gap analysis,
there are eight management practices that become variable prices for employees. The intersection
between the EVP that has been offered and the variable price, which is the employee's expectation,
is in the inferior area, which means that the offered EVP has not met the employee's expectations.
There are six management practices that are prioritized to be improved first.
The recommendations given are regarding the improvement of EVP through improvement of six
prioritized management practices, namely in terms of Consequence Management, Career
Opportunities, Financial Incentives, Rewards & Recognition, Bottom-up Innovation, and People
Performance Reviews. |
