In order to communicate with the user, Posambas needs an interactive and responsive user interface (UI) as a communication bridging tool between the user and Posambas its self. This user interface is an Android application that can tell the user about temperature of Posambas, fault, state of charge (SOC), and the battery emptiness information. And also, the user could give command to Posambas to switch the power source that is in use to supply ATCS power needs. To connect with Posambas, this application must connect to wi-fi transmitted by Posambas MCU. Parsing data through HTTP connection is a method that used in the application to get any related information or to give a command to Posambas. This method will parse any data that posambas provides in its web pages for the user. The design and the implementation of UI and its communication system results a responsive Android application with an average response time 110ms/input. And also, unit tests are carried out on each function in the application programming code. The unit test was successfully done 10 times with 100% of the success of each function with no warnings or errors. All of the functions implemented and worked well as expected. text |
