In Jakarta Greater Area, there are people commute to Jakarta to work or school in daily basis. The supply of job in Jakarta is higher than the other area outside it. Thus, people from Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi commute to Jakarta every day. Accessibility to public transport is one of the factors that indirectly explains labor outcomes. In developing countries, public transport is one of the key roles in providing the population with access to employment opportunities. This final project aims to analyze the accessibility by public transport to employment in Jakarta Greater Area, Indonesia and to explore how the other variable that affect to them. To do so, the spatial analysis, correlation analysis and survey are conducted to assess the accessibility of public transport and the link to employment. This finding indicates there are some correlation between accessibility and employment variables. Thus, improving accessibility to job opportunities via public transport may enhance individual employment outcomes.
