Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB ) is affiliated firm of PT. PLN (Persero ), the main duty is to process the generator unit which spreads in Java island. Core business of PT. PJB in electricity power plant begin to expand the business to support core business. One of them is Cirata Hydro Electric Power Plant located in West Java, in framework to increase the function and use reservoir in the very optimally to the need every important which is possible in technically without disturbing the main function of reservoir, they form business unit which is called Badan Pengelola waduk Cirata (BPWC ).<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> The establishment business unit is also poured in West Java Governor Agreement no. 16, 1998, about developing of the benefit of general irrigation and whithdraw land in Cirata. As a business unit in PT. PJB which move in the business sector outside electricity power, the business which done is developing of the benefit economic potential in Cirata, in which the dominant are fishery, botanic, and tourism.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> Corporate strategy formulation is arranged as appropriate level in strategy management process, begin to analize external factor and internal factor in company, and then use SWOT matrix analysis made strategy based on vision and mission of company, propose to devide in two steps :<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> The first step by Stability Strategy, is consolidation step to develope core competence and strengthen the foundation. The second step by Growth Strategy, is development step after the weakness is gone and opportunities become better.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> Hopely with the arranged suggestion formulation strategy and work program of business unit, can be input to the management in developing the business unit, as an implementation policy of PT. PJB in order to optimize suporting business or non core business to produce optimal advantage for company. text
