This action is based on emotion and fear based on rational analysis. This study aims to examine one of the phenomena that causes panic in the market, namely the impact of testing the covid-19 pandemic on stock prices and trading volume before and after the national announcement of the covid-19 virus in Indonesia and analysis of the intrinsic value of stocks using Discounted Cash Flow and relative assessments. . The research population is the company PT. Matahari Department Store, TBK using historical data on stock prices and trading volume for 120 days before and after the first announcement of the Covid-19 pandemic and financial report data from Stockbit for the 2015-2019 period. Hypothesis testing uses Paired Sample T-test regression analysis with the SPSS 20 application and analysis of the intrinsic value of stocks using Discounted Cash Flow and relative valuation. The research shows the results where 1) There is a difference in the share price of PT Matahari Departmen Store Tbk. before and after the announcement of the first Covid-19 case in Indonesia 2) There is a trading volume culture of PT Matahari Departmen Store Tbk. before and after the announcement of the first Covid-19 case in Indonesia 3) The intrinsic value of the shares of PT Matahari Departmen Store Tbk. (LPPF) is bigger (undervalued) than its current share price. . text |
