Relatively flat topography, changes in land use and inadequate drainage systems are one of the factors causing flooding in this area. This research aims to. To evaluate the existing capacity of the main drainage channel (carrying capacity) in order to obtain alternative technical and non-technical policy solutions that can overcome the flood problems in this area. The methodology used consists of hydrological analysis, spatial analysis, hydraulic analysis and factor analysis. Hydrological analysis was carried out by calculating the intensity of rain from the rainfall data of the nearest station, namely Cibiru station (2009-2018), it was obtained that the rainfall used was using Log Pearson III distribution. From the results of the spatial analysis, there are changes in land use around the Cinambo river from 2007 and 2020 where C in 2007 was 0.604 and C in 2020 was 0.7125 so that there was an increase in composite C every year, this could cause the discharge of runoff to the river to get bigger also. The results of the hydraulic analysis show that some of the main drainage channels in Cinambo District are no longer able to accommodate the design flood discharge, so it is necessary to make alternative technical policy solutions in the form of channel redesign and selected retention ponds as a way to cope with flooding in the Cinambo area, while alternative solutions are non-technical policies. conducted through factor analysis to evaluate the application of the Zero Delta Q Policy concept. text
