<b>Abstract :</b><p align=\"justify\">Information Technology has been using since in the middle of 1980. This technology is emerged by computer technology which has marriages with telecommunication technology. The right choosed on application of information technology was an effective weapon to the hospital because of globalisation in the health world has been brought the impact to became tight the competition. In fact there only a little hospital that has been used information technology as the supporter for business process because they still used the convensional method. <br /> <br /> The purpose of this thesis is to do reengineering on business process which held at a hospital with make use of the right choosed of application of information technology to support new process business to became more eficien and efectif. <br /> <br /> This thesis is research with quantity approach case study. The research object that have been analysed is bussiness process which held at Emergency Room in Ananda Hospital Salatiga are (1) patient status (data) seeking process, (2) drugs giving process to the patient. <br /> Research method that used in this tesis is (1) identified business process, (2) map and analysed business process, (3) determined business process, (4) analysed gap, (5) designed business process, (6) analysed new business process. <br /> <br /> This thesis has been producted plan of new business process with cycle time reduction and paper. This design of new business process pointed toward to the eficiencyeness in the emergency room with applied application of information technology (1) finger scan database, (2) PDA (Personal Digital Assistant).
