Description
Summary:Sayang Village is a supporting area for the Jatinangor education area, where currently there are four (4) State Universities including ITB and Padjadjaran University (UNPAD). The development of the village of Sayang Village is very rapid from year to year. The very rapid development of Desa Sayang, of course, requires the development of adequate water and sanitation infrastructure, including waste management. However, currently Desa Sayang does not have a solid waste management system. Lack of waste management service facilities, causing people to dump their garbage on empty land and rivers or burn it. Sayang Village has a waste generation of 3.56 tons/day. The composition of the waste that dominates is organic waste 52.11%, inorganic waste in the form of plastic-type waste 19%, and paper 15%. The design of TPS 3R based on Circular Economy in Sayang Village is intended to maximize the potential of each waste so that it can cause economic turnover value in Sayang Village. TPS 3R is designed with a capacity of 3.75 tons/day. The reduction of waste carried out by TPS 3R Desa Sayang is in the form of composting which is aerated static pile because the composition of organic waste is the. Meanwhile, recyclable waste will be distributed to the industrial sector. By maximizing waste management at TPS 3R, it will reduce waste reduction to TPA by 71% and increase economic turnover as well as the welfare of the people of Desa Sayang.
