This study aims to determine how effective the reservoir is, in dealingwith flood overflow from Cikapundung. The Watershed area of the Cikapundung and Citarum rivers are 152 km2 and 674 km2. The design of the water structure in the oxbow reservoir consist of 10 inlet gates and three water pump with capacity of 5m3/s and construction of a river embankment. The construction of the storage system resuted in a decrease flood water level in Cikapundung River. text
