One of the lemon producing areas in Indonesia is West Bandung Regency, West Java Province. However, lemon production in West Bandung regency has not been maximized, one of which is due to the influence of climate, such as monsoon, ENSO, La Nina and local climate influenced by the topography of the study area. This problem can be solved through mapping the suitability of climate and land as well as the potential of lemon plants to determine the most suitable area of lemon planting. However, due to the limitations of observation data, inversion methods can be used to obtain better results. Therefore, in this study will be conducted the application of inversion method to identify the suitability of climate and land of lemon plants in the area of West Bandung Regency, West Java. Meteorological data processing begins with determining rainfall distribution and conducting inversion modeling to analyze climate variability that affects and classifies the climate of West Bandung Regency. Then the processing of DEM data and land use with the method of attachment to be combined with the results of meteorological data processing into a map of climate and land conformity. Furthermore, the determination of the potential of lemon plant land in West Bandung Regency. The results were obtained that the climate type of West Bandung Regency based on the results of inversion modeling menururt Schmidt-Ferguson classification is type C, where the climate variability that affects it is monsoon, ENSO, and La Nina. The climate and land conformity map for lemon plants shows the area of West Bandung Regency consisting of class S1 (0.02%), S1 (14.5%), S3 (36.6%), and N (48.5%). The distribution of lemon plant potential in West Bandung Regency is found in Lembang sub-district, with a total land area (21.26%) of the total area of Lembang subdistrict. Lemon productivity will be high during the rainy season, and will be low during the dry season. text |
