Bandung Regency is one of the areas located in the banks of the Citarum River. Consequently during the rainy season, Bandung Regency has a high potential of floods. When the floods occur, one of the victims who require additional attention are infants, considering that infantsstill need adult assistance to evacuate. However, there is no equipment that specializesin the infant evacuation that can be used before the flood occurs as well as first aid before the infant evacuation process is carried out. Based on this, it is necessary to develop equipment for evacuation preparation that can be used before a flood occurs and facilitate the evacuation of infantsin the event of a flood.The design was carried out using the Human Centered Design method through three stages, namely inspiration, ideation, and implementation. The inspiration stage was carried out by a qualitative approach in the form of interviews, observations, and collection of research references related to the floods and rescue equipment during floods, especially for infants.In the ideation stage, the development of design ideas was carried out through a brainstorming process that involves a moodboard framework, a business model canvas (BMC), storyboards, and a visual design concept. Finally, the implementation stage was carried out by testing and evaluating the initial design that has been made to obtain input for refining the final design.The result of this research is the design of infant evacuation preparation equipment with the concept of a baby crib. This equipment is designed to protect and assist the infant evacuation process by analyzing the aspects of safety, accessibility, operation, and durability; also by consideringthe stages of a disaster including pre-disaster, emergency response, and post-disaster. Apart from being evacuation equipment, the crib can be used as daily products to assist bathing and cradling aninfant. In the final design, a product design recommendation is obtained as aninfant evacuation equipment during floods, especially in disaster management acts in the form of locating, accessing, stabilizing, and transporting.
