Description
Summary:This paper discusses flood analysis, drainage, and retaining pool design at a football stadium. In the flood analysis, a prior review of the project location is carried out so that an appropriate rainfall is obtained. After that, the tidal data is taken to determine the extreme tidal conditions at the project site. Flood analysis is done by comparing the actual elevation that occurs in a river near the project site with the river's capability. Drainage planning is carried out on the surface of the project site and below the surface for the field at the stadium. The period of rainfall for drainage can be determined by determining the rainfall occurring in the project area. The stadium drainage is designed by considering the elevation of the flood that has been determined so that the project location can avoid floods that can occur in the project area. The retaining pool is designed to hold water so that it can anticipate flooding at the football stadium. This retaining pool is designed by first determining the period of rainfall that will happen. Thus, can be obtained reservoir dimensions can be obtained that can hold some rainwater in the football stadium.
