As a form of fulfilling the need for hostelry and shopping tourism, Cibadak Brookplaza & Hotel was the answer to the problem. The design of Cibadak Brookplaza & Hotel in its geotechnical aspect will be discussed regarding the basement and foundation.
The depth of excavation for the basement of the project which will be discussed in this final project is 7 m deep. It will be designed using a retaining wall of the type of secant pile wall with ground anchors. The analysis will be carried out using PLAXIS 2D with the Hardening Soil model. The primary pile diameter of the secant pile wall is 0.8 m, while the secondary pile diameter is 1 m with a spacing of 1.5 m. The anchor will be installed at an elevation of -1.5 m and -4.5 m with a certain pre-stress force.
Bored pile foundation is used for this building, with a diameter of 1 m, a depth of 21 m and a diameter of 1.2 m with a depth of 26 m. The axial bearing capacity was calculated manually with spreadsheets. While lateral bearing capacity was analyzed using the L-PILE software and Group pile analysis was analyzed using the GROUP software.
