Plant 6 is one of the many plants located at PT Paragon Technology and Innovation where wastewater is divided into two categories, namely domestic wastewater and laboratory wastewater consisting of pre-wash and final-wash wastewater. Based on the evaluation results, the wastewater has not met the quality standard according to the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 5 of 2014 Annex XLVII and the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 68 of 2016 concerning Domestic Wastewater Quality Standards. Therefore, an integrated treatment system for laboratory wastewater and greywater domestic wastewater is proposed at Plant 6 with the planning of a water reuse effort for the effluent treated so that it must meet the criteria for class I water quality in the Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001 concerning Water Quality Management and Water Pollution Control. The selection of alternative processing systems is carried out using the SAW method in which the three alternatives are distinguished based on their secondary processing systems, namely the sequencing batch reactor (SBR), conventional activated sludge (CMAS), and oxidation ditch. The alternative selection criteria were selected based on literature data and existing conditions that took into account efficiency, reliability, sludge generation, land requirements, environmental impacts, operational costs, construction costs, sustainability and simplicity. The selected treatment unit configuration consists of a grease trap, an equalization tank, a primary sedimentation tank, a sequencing batch reactor, a rapid sand filter, a disinfection tank, a chemical tank, an effluent control tank, and a sludge treatment system in the form of a sludge drying bed. text |
