Researches that have already published usually between migrant from other countries rather than already within countries that have multiple ethnic did not come from migration from other countries. So, this study is to research is there more differences or similarities if both of them, either ethnic/migrant/”rantau” and local/indigenous of Bandung City entrepreneurs been compared, to see if there is a connection with the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bandung. The focus of this study that has been compared is their (migrant and indigenous of Bandung City entrepreneurs) tacit knowledge about businesses in the entrepreneurial processes, such as opportunities, resources, and teams. To see the entrepreneurial ecosystem in creative industries in Bandung limited or appropriate with a model from literature and connection with entrepreneurial processes is differentiated or not. The methods that used in this study is qualitative method with an in-depth interview by random sample, 5 from migrant entrepreneurs (2 Medan-convections, promos, 2 Solo-food, 1 Kediri-promos) with 5 local/ indigenous of Bandung City that 5 types of businesses (conventions, face paints, shoes, knits). The result obtained is there is more similarity rather than the difference in tacit knowledge from entrepreneurial processes, the difference only in their connection, whereas migrant / “rantau” entrepreneurs learning about businesses (skills and manage businesses) first hand mostly from people that have the same origin of place (families, friends, or neighbors), on the other hand, local people don’t need to learn from indigenous people first hand, except second-generation businesses that learn from predecessors.
