Summary: | The work entitled ‘Black Mirror:Portrait of Human Consciousness’ is a form of
visual language as the exploration result of a painting medium to cover the writer’s
need to share subjective experiences with grass plants. This Final Work consists of
eight canvases, each of which is the author's exploration journey in exploring
awarness in the selection of forms to be preserved or left in the field of painting, the
understanding of the materials and painting techniques used, and acknowledgement
of the relationship between visual findings in painting with ideas that have built to
continue to develop and finalize the concept of the Final Project Work.
The author gives an overview of the form of grass and depicting it with the incised
technique, using paraffin wax and offset cemanic toka ink as painting materials,
within black shading, all the elements that organized the shape are full of symbolic
meanings arranged using formal considerations such as a puzzle into one unit, an
abstract painting.
