The traffic jam, overlapping route, number of public transport routes disagreeing with service hierarchy characterize the traffic condition in Bandung city. This condition result in the poor quality of the public transport service. <br />
One of effort to solve the condition is by rerouting public transport in Bandung based on the public transport performance. The performance of wich includes VCR, overlapping route, area coverage and route structure. <br />
By rerouting the public transport, it is expected that it can improve the public transport services in Bandung city, such as : shortest time travel, more wider of service area which can reduce the blank ; spot areas and which further lead an individual from using a private car to public tranport, and spreading public transport : so that the accumulation at one of internodes does not occur.<p align="justify"> <br />
In this study, multi criteria analysis method is used to evaluate the public transport performance. The analysis is based on stakeholder like user, operator and regulator. For evaluating the public transport performance after rerouting is based on alternative mute. The determination of the alternative route is based on VCR < 0.85, lower overlapping, alternative route the nearest existing route, and the effect internode of contact among the public transports going to the same destination 50% maximum.<p align="justify"> <br />
Based on evaluation of the existing public transport performance, there are 5 that have to be rerouted for outbound. They are Ciroyom-Bumiasri, Cibogo-Elang, Abdul Muis-Mengger, Sederhana-Cimindi, Sederhana-Cijerah whereas for inbound there are 6 different existing route that have to be rerouted, they are Cibogo-Elang, Abdul Muis-Mengger, Abdul Muis-Elang, Stasiun Hall-Sarijadi, Sederhana-Cimindi, Sederhana-Cijerah.<p align="justify"> After to rerouting was obtained, the public transport performance was better than the existing condition such as VCR decrease 21,50%-76,19%0, overlapping decrease 45%-80% and structure route agree with service hierarchy. Except for Ciroyom-Bumiasri outbond that has not significant difference, such as VCR decrease 12,63%. There for, the existing route still use. <br />
By applying the rerouting to the 11 route of public transport, it is expected that it can solve traffic condition in Bandung. <br />
