The permanent magnet actuator accords to IEC 62271-100: 2008 standard. The design is built on the requirements of the vacuum circuit breaker. Optimized the actuator design only on the selected permanent magnet. The actuator design uses 2 coils which function to open and close the circuit. The main function of permanent magnets is to maintain contactor conditions in the vacuum interuppter. There are 5 variations of permanent magnets based on grade that is N35, N52, N50M, N30H, and N30SH. From this research, a permanent magnet with class N35 was selected with a opeing time 17.38 ms passed IEC standards with a minimum opening time of 32.5 ms. text |
